The largest Marlow Yacht was introduced in 2011. We designed this newest model Marlow with the environment and top performance in mind using everything we have learned over a lifetime of building, repairing and using boats. The new 97E is, of course, built using our own proprietary Full Stack Infusion © which has no equal in the marine industry. This process removes the ability of human error in laminating, eliminating good days, bad days, contamination, atmospheric considerations and a host of other potential problems from the equation.

The new 97E features a beam of 21’ and exceptional waterline length at around 83’, allowing displacement speed cruising with superior economy and significantly higher speeds than would be possible if we built a barge like design. In fact we believe that with its Bureau VERITAS unrestricted navigation certificate, it will be the fastest, best performing raised pilothouse offshore yacht in the world with equal power. We have run this yacht since it's arrival and have found a top speed of 29K and a very comfortable cruising speed of 23-24K. The range at 25K is about 950 miles and a range of 4000 miles is attainable with a speed of 9K.

Marlow Explorer 97E Command Bridge

The options for deck configuration are many and since it's introduction, every yacht has been significantly different. The Command Bridge allows for a luxurious master suite on the main deck with a grand salon and separate formal dining room. The u-galley can be accessed from the dining area as well as from a unique on deck door allowing activities to be carried out less obtrusively while providing fresh air to the galley when chosen.

The huge on deck master is difficult to describe without superlatives. It is accessed with its own direct entry from the salon or a private door to the exterior. The full bank of curved glass windows allows panoramic daytime views and starlit night gazing. A stunning Shanxi black granite sole is found in the master head with a hand carved solid Sichuan Pure White soaking tub gracing the room. A very large separate shower, hand carved marble sinks and vanities  balance of this luxurious suite.

For those who prefer, the galley in the pilothouse is expansive and well equiped for any and every occasion. From the lovely granite countertops to the integrated appliances, every item quietly boasts luxury and utility. The 30 plus feet of salon provides a grand space for entertaining and relaxing. The options for layout allows you to choose a formal dining room, a casual wet bar complete with bar stools or a private office. You can decide how to use the space for incorporation into your lifestyle. 

Below features four, five or six beautiful guest cabins plus aft crew quarters. The Master stateroom below offers a king size midship bed, ample cedar-lined hanging lockers, bureaus and vanity along with sumptuous his and hers heads. At least two of the luxurious cabins are VIP style with another cabin featuring twin double beds. As an option, guests will be afforded their own private commissary with full cooking facilities for a late night snack and European laundry facilities.

The photos below show a Command Bridge model with the galley in the pilothouse and a grand master stateroom below. This model has a forward VIP with full head, a twin side by side stateroom with full head and a single bunk over the laundry facilities. A midship VIP with luxurious head has its own entry off of the salon. 

Marlow Explorer 97E Fly Bridge

The open fly bridge 97 E features an on deck raised pilothouse with a navigation station, a large galley and informal dining seating. Step into the salon and the vista sweeps all the way to the very bow without a bulkhead. The owner’s suite is a private getaway spanning the full beam in the very center of the yacht for the least motion. The fly bridge is protected by a fiberglass hardtop but wide open from the helm to a boat deck large enough for a fleet of water toys and outdoor entertaining.

The 97E has the option of the Marlow-developed solar roof system to recharge house batteries offering seamless 8 KW inverter power for on board appliance use. Her hydraulic transom door and swim platform allow water toys and brilliant access to crew quarters. At sea the Captain will be able to access the machinery spaces via a wonderful companionway in all weather.

The machinery space cannot be ignored. It is every bit as detailed in fit and finish as the rest of the yacht. The space is gleaming with more than full standing head room. Every valve and hose is labled, every wire color-coded and every part of the engine is accessible. With the optional A/C and work bench, it is to some an ideal toy box!
